How to Apply for a Turkey Visa Online

Spread the love

Turkey, one of the most important tourist destinations in the world, welcomes all tourists with open arms and offers them so many options to spend their holidays. And if you are thinking about visiting this country, there’s only one thing you need to do — get your TURKEY VISA ONLINE from Turkish embassies and consulates around the world. Here’s how to apply for a Turkey visa online in 3 simple steps.

The first step

Before you can apply for your turkey visa, you’ll need to get an invitation from your future employer in turkey. For example, if your family has friends or relatives in turkey, they can invite you over. They will likely have all of the paperwork prepared and just need to have you sign it before passing it on to immigration officials. Or if you know someone who’s currently working in turkey, perhaps they could put in a good word with their company or their friends at another company—whichever works best for them and is most convenient for you.

What documents are required?

You will need your passport which must be valid for at least 6 months and has at least one blank page. You will also need a visa application form, two passport photos, and proof of funds. Your sponsor in Turkey may ask you to provide some additional documents depending on your circumstances (such as marriage certificates, police reports, or travel itineraries). If they do, be sure to bring them with you. You can get started by downloading our e-book Turkey Immigration Made Easy – see below in resources. It contains all of the insider tips that we have used to successfully help thousands of people immigrate and move to Turkey. TURKEY VISA APPLICATION

When should I apply?

You can apply up to 90 days before your trip begins. So, if you are leaving at 4:00 p.m. on June 2, you have until 11:59 p.m. on May 3 to complete your application and pay your fee with PayPal or a credit card. If you’re traveling in December and want to apply more than two months in advance, we advise waiting until September 1, as our post offices will be closed during most of August due to holidays (more information here). If you do apply after May 3, please remember that your passport needs at least six weeks’ validity from when you begin traveling in order to receive a visa-free entry stamp upon arrival in Turkey!

Is it possible to get a visa at the border?

Depending on your nationality, you may be able to get a visa at the border. One example is if you are from one of more than 60 countries that have reciprocal visa-free travel with Turkey. If so, you can obtain a visa when you arrive at Istanbul Atatürk Airport or in any port of entry by showing an approved passport and paying money equal to five days’ worth of transit fees. You cannot obtain an e-visa if entering through Atatürk Airport or any airport in Turkey; you must apply before traveling online at Vizehnet or through another agency or service provider.
